What did you do to your Jeep today? - April 2025

Got the cage test fitted. Now need to pull it all back out and get it painted.
Bought the rear bar that goes straight across. They want it installed in the middle of the curve of the family bar. Only problem is that is where the seat belt bung goes. I reached out and they said it can fit above the bung, but I find the bar doesn’t sit there quite right. Actually considering not putting it in for now as the main cabin bars and the rear diagonals will probably do what I’m looking to do for now.
Oh, and she does fit in the garage

Took my freedom panels off for the 1st time. It was so much fun driving home.
Now you need to try taking the doors off too.
Cookie beat me too it. Was going to say you need to take doors off. It is on my to do list this weekend.

But… I have no frame-mounted mirrors. That seems… not street legal?

Get some cheap ones that mount in the door pin holes and go!
You can grab a short stem Harley mirror and pop in the top hinge on the drivers side.

Alright so today I
Put the new shade on
Put the soft top on…got to say I dig it
Changed the oil in prep for Moab
Looked at my engine air filter (looks awesome so I’ll save the new one I have)
Lubed my track bar, drag link, tie rod, and ball joints
Pulled the doors
Washed it
Sold a set of floorboards to guy and told him about our forum and then proceeded to install them for him because he didn’t know what to do lol
Then took 2 of the kiddos to Mexican food
Oh and found an oil leak (should be able to square it away pretty easy.

I was wondering when you would do that. Expected to see it topless last weekend.
Walkers are a great choice.
