What did you do to your Jeep today? - April 2025

Discovered a nail in one of my tires, just deep enough to let air out. Pulled out my ARB plug kit and plugged it.
I hope it was in a good pluggable spot. I plugged a tire on my Ram last fall. It was on the edge. I kept having to fill it. I bought 4 new tires in March. So good luck

If you use a mushroom type plug they generally work much better.

Finally got my new head unit installed.

It was thankfully. Almost in between the middle treads. Tire pressure has been fine. I plugged a tire on my previous set of tires that held up for 25k+ miles. Hoping I have the same luck with this plug!🤞🏻

Checked flex to determine if and where the 40’s would rub. Results are they have enough bump stop to tuck the 40’s nicely into the wheel well, I still had some room to go in the rear before hitting the stop, but they rub the lower control arms if the wheel is turned hard left or right. I thought I was going to hit the front bumper but still has less than a finger width of space

Me thinks the bumper needs a bit of a trim Joe.
Meant to ask if the missus will be coming out west with us?
