I'm also wondering if I'm chasing windmills... The angle it is twisted is probably 5 degrees... It's not a ton... I'm wondering if perfection is becoming the enemy of getting it done...

I think you might be right on the Don Quixote reference, 5 degrees is not going to be a big problem as long as all your drive line angles and linkages are still good.

Do you have CJ or FSJ mounts on the block side? They are totally different. I believe that crown or the like has started re-popping these. Check 4wd Hardware if you need to go that route.

I honestly don't know, I snagged them off a CJ that didn't originally come with a v8 when I got the motor.

I reused my old engine mounts everything is together and working well. Just need to do some clutch adjustment to finalize everything.
