Insane Audio TJ1002
« on: January 30, 2019, 12:53:45 PM »
Attention TJ owners!!  I'm considering upgrading our head units for both our 2004 TJ Rubicon and our 2006 Jeep KJ Liberty.  Currently, we have the RB1 Navigation Radios which were awesome but that model is now missing many of the latest features found in newer vehicles.  I was checking out this new head unit by Insane Audio, TJ1002,

Unfortunately, it's not available at Quadratec [yet] but I see it's available at both,

Question - Is there anyone in NoVA Jeepers who has had any experience with Insane Audio products??  It looks promising.  I'm looking for feedback.  Pros/Cons??

(I think I'm going to watch that video a few more times now)

Bump. I'm curious also. Their multimedia/navigation system for the JK's is quite pricey but looks nice.

I bought a knockoff version of this for my TJ on ebay for about 300 bucks. It works pretty well, I like the bluetooth/phone dock connectivity options. However, obviously there are some flaws in the operating system itself. I am sure that that is because it is a knockoff though. I would have gone with the Insane Audio, but I could not stomach spending $1000 on a radio. Overall, I think that it is a pretty cool system.
