Diamond in the rough
« on: January 05, 2015, 08:27:04 AM »
Been searching for a fully loaded pioneer or chief edition MJ. 4.0, short bed, 4x4, not rusted out. Something I can haul stuff to the dump or move bikes around. Not looking to pay this much, but damn. Talk about a well cared for Jeep.

2wd....

Someone spent a good amount of time cleaning it. If you look close it has an oil leak and the spare tire winch has a snapped cable, so its not perfect, but definitely in way above average condition.

That truck does have every option but 4wd. Very sweet for a daily driver.

I don't know what I want. Gets a bit warm and I think maybe instead of an MJ just go and get some average YJ and go topless, but then I'd never stop modding it.

Or do I get something German and go low? project B5 S4? 2012 S4?

Finally start my Grand Wagoneer project?

Trail only TJ?

It's winter so I should buy a snowmoblie right? But summers coming so buy a jetski?

I don't know what I want. I spend more time trying to keep all my "daily drivers" clean then anything else

Nice and clean for sure! One of the few MJs I've seen with the rear brake proportioning valve still hooked up.

But, honestly, Renix would make me shy away regardless...

You got my attention when you said S4. My wife sold our A4 to her sister years ago and told me to look for an S4. Never did get one. Was wanting an S5 at the time. We ended up getting a beautiful 2014 Allroad. Love the car. But would still like to get a Urq or maybe a CQ.

Gr8Dain, I already have a super fun modded out Audi S4. I was thinking a B5 twin turbo project. Just turn up the boost and see how far I can get.

But a YJ to go topless why not just get 99-02 porsche? and if I go porsche why not an older late 70's early 80's air cooled race version?

I'm out of garage space and time.
