I mentioned this event at today's club meeting but for those that wanted more insight on the event, Overland Expo is an overlanding event series for travel enthusiasts of all kind, offering courses, camping, vendors and more. Read through the links below for more information.

The event is from October 6-8 at Oakridge Estate. Granted, our Show & Shine is October 7, so some of us are heading up early on October 8 (Sunday) to be there by 8AM as a day trip and back home by nightfall. Parking has a fee of $10, and general admission for Sunday is $20 per person. You have an option to donate to the cause, along with an event shirt, patch or hat. I have never been to one, but got a ticket for Sunday and will head down and check it out.

They do offer a military/veteran discount too.
 
I've been to a few overland easts. Its a nice event for overlanding and slide ins, but pretty limited to that demographic. I wish they offered a cheaper camping option, as staying at the expo is over $200. I usually stay outside of lynchburg at peaks of otter or otter creek campgrounds and go up for the day. One day is plenty at expo east IMO
 
First time going so will stay at Expo for the full experience. Saved $67 on the registration for Sherry and I to attend.

That is definitely on the way for me as I will be coming from half way between Woodbridge and Manassas, down 234. But I am not going til Sunday (after Show & Shine)....are going to be there the whole time?
 
A lot of cool vehicles and camping setups. Vendors out in full force.

I’m out guys. Just woke up with killer back a neck pain. Heating pad and pain killers for me today. Big shout out to the military for the lasting memories 🙄
