Flag mounts?
« on: July 02, 2020, 03:40:37 PM »
Anyone have a DIY flag mount that I could get ideas from?  I am thinking about a small flag in the front bumper (drill a hole and put the wooden pole through it, or a larger flag on the rear bumper.  I do not have the hitch receiver on the 3a bumper, but might be able to get creative.  Any ideas?

I was gonna say, if you had a 3" in receiver in the rear you could just borrow my flagpole on Sat. Would you be able to ziptie the NVJA flag horizontally to your front bumper?

I would either run over it or block the grill completely

Turns out, I already have a solution.  The mounting locations for the top bows

That's awesome Dain! That works really well. Like it was meant to be there for the flag.

Agreed.  And there are 2 of them.  So I can either run 2 US flags, or one and the club flag.

I think the club flag would be better hanging off someone's bumper so that it can be easily read...I doubt the breeze will be strong enough to get it to "wave" if on a pole.
