On X Off road question

Does anyone use On X Off Road?

If so, what is the difference between the premium and the elite?

The website doesn't give a whole lot of details. Is the elite worth the extra money?

For the most part, Elite gets more recent images for maps, more detailed images and maps, too. It's helpful for me since it shows public and private land boundaries, land owners, places to camp legally, etc. But, I use it for more than offroading.

You also get partner vendor discounts.

I just purchased the lower price one with a Black Friday code. Used it this weekend when I took a trip to my mother’s in the Catskills. It was cool being able to just hit a trail and navigate right to it from the main road and start 4 wheeling.

I used to use Gaia primarily and switched to OnX last summer. So far, I like OnX a little better, but I have the lower paid one too, so could not say the difference. I think the higher paid one gives you that aerial flyover that I see advertised, as I have not been able ot use that feature yet anywhere.

3 years ago I began using Gaia, then added OnX. I used them for different things, mainly Gaia WAS easier to startup a new route. Now that OnX has made it so much easier to begin building a new route I stopped using Gaia and use only OnX. I use it every time I hit dirt even if I know everything about the trail. Some of y'all have seen the iPad on my dash running it. I only need the basic version as it covers a lot of features.
