March Club Meeting (Chili Cook-Off)

March Club Meeting (Chili Cook-Off)

Thanks for the suggestion - we are waiting to hear back from a venue as we speak!

Hey everyone. When the group was at my brewery for the July meeting we had thrown out the idea of having the Chili cookoff at our place. Trouvaille Brewing in Haymarket. If that’s still an option let me know. We would love to host.

Lovin this idea. Craft beer, Chili, and Jeeps........the trifecta of great things in life.

Hey! Thanks for the offer - we actually already have a venue set for the March club meeting - could we host the July 13 meeting at your location?

Definitely. More than welcome to have the Christmas in July meeting at Trouvaille again. Would be thrilled to host.

Hey Everyone!

Here are the categories for the Chili Cookoff:
Hottest Edible
Best Overall
Most Unique

Please comment here if you plan to bring something to contribute! It is always great to have lots of contestants! Also - make sure to bring a serving spoon.

Question, the Hottest edible category, does mean the hottest it can be, like who can make the hottest/spicy chili, or the most heat most people would find able to have more than one bite of? 😂

Ask @overhead about that one. It used to be “Hottest” and he went a little overboard. It would melt the spoons. Personally, i usually try for hottest edible. ButI don’t thinkI will be able to make a batch this year.
