Fox 2.0 shock's step side washers needed on a JK install ?
« on: July 05, 2021, 01:22:04 PM »
Has anyone installed the Fox 2.0 shocks on a JK and needed washers to keep the lower bracket from collapsing inward for the bottom mount? I saw some posts about that issue with JL's and Fox apparently did not ship the necessary washers with the shock and folks had to call and get them sent out.
My JK is a 2013, but the front axle is a 2015 or so Mopar factory new axle I swapped in.
My bracket bent inward a bit more than I like and I just got some 12mm washers, Kind of a PIA since I need to pull the shock bottom loose and bend the bracket back out a bi. If only I wasn't so picky... Oh, and my shocks are the ones with a remote reservoir.
