Gladiator cat back exhaust
« on: June 19, 2021, 12:06:48 PM »
Hey all, got a 2020 gladiator and I'm looking for a cat back exhaust that is bolt on and has some mellow rumble but nothing crazy. Looking for the most power with the least noise. I'm slowly turning into an old man and my threshold for droning is low. Any suggestions?

I did the muffler delete while retaining the resonators to avoid drone. Horsepower gains on the 3.6 or 2.0 turbo are so small they’re practically meaningless without additional power adders. The muffler delete is a little loud on cold start and some low gear acceleration, but is mostly quiet. I figured the wind noise from driving a brick down the road is actually louder than the exhaust delete. Also, I have a JL and not the gladiator, but as far as sound is concerned, they’ll be the same. My only reasoning for the muffler delete was the added rear clearance and a possible future mounting location for an auxiliary fuel tank.

Just my .02
