So after 3 years of driving and deciding on things and after the last spotter training I finally got a lift/wheels/tires.  Put it all together this week.  Taking it to get a alignment and a once over to make sure I didn’t hose something up too bad.
Just got it back apparently we did a really good job.  They asked how long it took to put on and I think he got a chuckle at the 8 hour figure.

Looks awesome!

What lift did you go with?

Did the same as you I think.  Metal cloak 3.5 game changer with RS shocks.

Yep! Its an awesome kit. I built mine slowly, mostly due to finances. A part here, a part there. So glad I did it.

I dropped it off at High Tech by my place to make sure I didn’t botch it and for an alignment.

New tires...ooh aaah

Machine is nice, but I still had to resort to the ole 5 gal pail method to get the old off.

New record, 5 hrs.

Nothing super impressive, I replaced some corroded hardware and tightened some things up.

Since I don’t have my engine harness back, I decided to open my wheel wells in the rear a bit and put the LJ fenders on (got them from Jeff).  It should help a bit with the 35s

Jealous.

Still trying to figure out where to store my hardtop. Living in a townhouse with no garage poses problems.

I can put it in the backyard, bit it'll be moldy by fall.

Actually took it during my lunch hour and not only passed inspection and emissions, but also stopped by a DMV and was able to renew the registration.  I'm pretty stoked she's back to be street legal again.

What kind of sorcery was that?  None of that even sounds possible!!!

Just kidding.  Congrats on a very productive lunch break.
