Scavenger Hunt Revisited
« on: June 01, 2020, 05:08:00 PM »
Does anyone remember the rules for the Scavenger Hunts we used to do back in the day?  Does someone care to start?  Thanks!  :tu

It was pretty basic if I recall. Someone posts a “your Jeep in front of/with/etc” challenge and you post a photo to win.

1 - only recent photos count
2 - takes two “wins” by others agreeing then you get to post the next challenge
3 - bonus points for creatively winning the challenge

Dug up the old 'rules'

Quote
Basically the idea is this: I will post a request for a picture of YOUR jeep, with something else... You go out, and get the requested pic, and post it here. After that, THREE other people have to declare your picture a winner. Once that happens, the winner gets to post a NEW scavenger hunt!!!!

Couple of rules:
1: 5 day time limit on searches. If a picture request hasn't been fulfilled by then, the previous requester posts a NEW search
2: Personal CURRENT pictures ONLY!!! No searching the web to find a winner, or pulling a pic from three years ago. The idea is to get out and enjoy your JEEP!!!
3: No repeats!! If it's found, it's found! ** Now if we have an unclaimed picture, we CAN return and try again later.
4: no "best/worst" requests... Make it specific!!!!
5: Try not to be too location specific. "I want a jeep in front of the McDonald's at the intersection of blah blah" does not work.
6: next person has 48 hours to post a new request. After 48 hours, ANYONE can post a new request.
7: If you post up a picture, THREE people have to post saying that it's a winner.
8: Finally, if there is a dispute, claims of foul play, or any other issue, I am the supreme commander in charge, and I will make the call. It's my game, don't like it, don't play.  8)

I will keep a record of all the "hunts" on the second post of this thread.

Oh, and all old entries/pictures are void. Act like they never happened!!

A picture of you in or next to your Jeep wearing a face mask/shield is an easy one!  And go......

The only thing about a Yj that's reliable is its mechanic.

Joey to Mike- That's more like it! Never done.....just outta money at the moment.

atjeep-Every time a YJ passes inspection, an angel gets it's wings.

El' Presidante has spoken.  :jw

Since it's that time of year, how about a picture of you and your Jeep on an Ice Cream run.

It’s weird I can see them on the preview only but not in post. But there is a renegade getting some ice cream.

Win.

Yeah I haven't figured out the magic formula for photos.google.com, But my Pixel puts them there automatically, so I keep trying to figure it out....
