Good jeep mechanics??
« on: May 29, 2020, 03:47:07 PM »
Good day everyone-- looking for advice--
Just bought a Jeep Wrangler ---looking for a good mechanic (jeep experience) in the Sterling to Leesburg area.

Any advice? ---- just want to get it ready for some trail riding this summer and regular maintenance.

Thanks for any/all help

Hi Tech is in Chantilly.  ORI is in Winchester and there are several others that people will chime in with.

A lot of us do our own work. It is a good way to get to know your vehicle if anything goes wrong on the trail. I understand some folks don’t have the space for it, which puts diy at the bottom of the list. Also, the club tries to have wrenching parties, so things can get done together. Covid kinda put that on hold though.
OCD off-road and Manassas off-road are a couple of other places to look at too. Hopefully you can get your Jeep taken care of.

Where are you located?   Sounds like you’re close by.
Older gentleman in Lowe’s Island Service Center bought back his old shop and is good for basic auto repair/maintenance.  [20850 Hardwood Forest Dr

General maintenance  the  OEM has a pretty good program for that.

Another shop to consider is Chaos Fab Shop in Winchester. They  are a little pricey but do great work on everything from mild to wild.

OCD Offroad in Fredericksburg is awesome, and I've heard great things about Bull Run 4x4.
The only thing about a Yj that's reliable is its mechanic.

Joey to Mike- That's more like it! Never done.....just outta money at the moment.

atjeep-Every time a YJ passes inspection, an angel gets it's wings.

Hey everyone --thanks
I like to do my own work as well, however, given the state of the world --I do get deployed frequently--- and I need a good reliable place my wife can go when I'm gone. I'm near Dulles airport area-- so the most of the suggestions are great --thanks
