This is the more interesting part to me.  I obviously would rather hard wired on a vehicle, but this does easily address wires when taking the doors off  :?  Tailgate contact pins would be an interesting solution as well

I did not see that, but wondered where the wiring and control would go, in case you mounted the mirrors to the windshield to go doorless.  I wonder how often the batteries would die
