Didn't you have the Mopar Performance System? Why in the world would you go to MegaSquirt?

Yes I do/did have one of the earlier versions of the Mopar Performance/HESCO conversion kits on the CJ. It is a great system for a stock, or near stock engine based on early 90's, late 80's technology. Even with my engine mods it works great on the street and pretty good off road trail after adding the piggy back tuner. But it is really is not that easy to tune for varying conditions. The system is based on a 1994 Jeep Wrangler ECM which was replaced in late 1995, early 1996 with the next generation ECM technology incorporating an industry standard OBD II design.

Since the introduction of the Mopar Performance in the early 2000's there have been several upgrades and improvements with the most recent being the completely tune-able version 2.0 which appears to be a very affordable conversion kit for anyone interested in installing a multi-port fuel injection on a Chrysler in-line six. If i were smarter, I would have simply upgraded to this unit, but the Nerd in me could not resist the urge to build something using Open Source technology...

I finally had a chance to complete the build of the wiring harness panel last night. Sometime today I will energize the system and begin configuring it for engine combination. With a little luck I will soon have the CJ running once again.

OK that was a very long "yes".

I got my CB installed today. I'm going to tune it tomorrow. Should make trail rides more fun. I can't wait to use it.

Caved and put the hard top back on for the winter.

Used to cave back in college(1978/1979).  Did Marshalls and Breathing if I remember correctly. Remember sleeping in Breathing. Tore up my knee so gave up caving.

I did Marshall again.  Did a lot when I was in Blacksburg back in college too.

We gonna start a January one of these?

The 315s finally came in and got them mounted. 1/5 tires wanted 46oz of weight (yes the bead was on, yes they tried to match the tire to the wheel). Shop said they had never seen this before, especially with a BFG. So riding around with no spare while they wait for a new tire to come in.
The Jeremy Theorem: Just buy 35's the first time
