Where are they now?

This club has been around through the years. Gained and lost many a member in that time. Let this thread be an update for friends gone by especially of the older members 10+ years ago.

I'll start!

Overhead: I've still got the yj, dad still has the TJ and mom picked up a Gladiator overland last year. Two kids makes it hard to wheel or work on the jeep much but it still sits nicely in my garage when the garage doesn't have projects piled up in it.

Who's got updates on old friends?

This old guy is still here.

I still have Twiss's old black TJ, regular maintenance and quite a few upgrades over the years has allowed it to hold up well.

Got married, had kids, Jeep didn't get a lot of love for several years, rolling less than 3,000 miles in the last 8 or so. But, kids are big enough now that they're out of car seats and boosters so the back seat is safe for them (without me struggling and cussing while doing contortions to get the seats in and out) so it's now the weekend fun vehicle, ice cream getter, making memories icon.

I talk to Bobby Green every once and a while. He is still in the Fed. He bought a 2 door TJ that was originally his before he sold it and bought Ramphog's JKU. His little girl isn't little anymore. Probably close to teenage years! That's all I know.

BirdsFanVa. Disappeared when too much non-member politics took over and it was time to move on. Gave my beast to my son who had a blast with it. Jeepless now, son has a Comanche and I'm walking the trails with a passion for hiking. That makes for 50 lbs lighter. Haha. Jeeps and Jeep eating events make you fat! Anyway, NovaJeepers will always hold a special spot in my heart, just like Jeeping. -Nick

Is it this old guys turn?

Still around, still wheeling, ended up buying Adventurous 4x4 and Speed from Randy Wood about 5 years ago. The daughters have gotten bigger, the oldest is starting to drive the LJ and will probably end up with one of my old TJs, the youngest isn't too far behind her.

Opie, is down in NC loving the laid back farm hand life. I stop by and see him from time to time when I am down that way.
Landshark, is still in Naples, Italy. Haven't spoke to him in a bit but trade notes now and again.
Jastor is in WV these days.
Grant Smith from the club is down in West Point, VA. Back in the Jeep world, has a 4dr JKU and a 50's CJ3 (I think that's correct), will see him this weekend at W4H, as he is a member of OCC again.

Still alive and kicking. Back working in Chantilly and DTE (Down To Eat) lunch. Selling SAOIRSE because she is just too big for Aidan (yes, he is almost 17 now) to learn to drive and we just can't have 4 vehicles in the driveway. Stephen Clough has been helping me not only with the sale, but with finding, perhaps, a gently build TJ that would be ideal for a kid to learn on. It can grow as his skills increase.

I'll try to be a bit more active, but no promises.
