What did you do to your Jeep today? - October 2024

Replacing rear main seal on the TJ, a pain in the a$$ getting the new seal in there, and replacing oil pan. The exhaust is peaking out in front of the tire. Will install after the oil pan gets installed.

Been there done that on the 4.0! That was a good project! When will we get to see the TJ out on the trails?

Trying get it all squared away, but will be losing my two car garage soon due to a move. On the fence about whether I keep it or potentially sell it.
 
Getting the trailer and Jeep ready for another run at Cripple Creek.

I appreciate it! I don't know of anyone else with a full set of DOT compliant cab lights on their Gladiator.

My Jeep is over 7 feet wide. Unfortunately, that means they are required for my Jeep to pass safety inspection and to be in compliance with VA and US DOT regs. I tapped the marker light lead on the driver's side, under the hood, which I use to key a relay when the marker lights turn on. Figured that would be the best way to avoid over-current on the circuit. I'm pretty happy with the look, the install was time consuming, but easy.
