Going to spend afternoon trying to get wobble and shakes out of my spare tire carrier. I went with the RedRock carrier because of the simple tubular look. However the tire wobbles tremendously. Very disappointed in the product. I might get rid of it in the end. Anyone running a tire carrier they are really happy with?

I’ve got the teraflex carrier and am happy with it.

Installed my 40” Coopers on KMC Riots to see how they look and check for rubbing. Will definitely need to move up from a -12 to the -38s and increase height.

I installed a Gen Right tire carrier on the Red Jeep, not only did it reduce the weigh t of the steel tire carriers once the tire is mounted there is more departure clearance and absolutely not shakes and vibes.

Be carful with backspacing. 4.5 inch is a sweet spot for scrub radius. On the Red Jeep I went with a 72inch wide (WMS)axle to eliminate the tire rub and a 4.5inch back space wheel. you are going to need to trim some fender as well.
