After we spoke and you gave me a solid plan I started digging a little more on what I had and what I would need to buy to remove all the bolts. Taking into account the tools I would need to buy, and the time I needed to find to do it, I decided to try and find a shop to help me. I spoke with a local turbo shop that said they will be able to remove the bolts for me.Do tell!
I am thinking cut the bolt heads off and then drill the shafts
Heat and some kinetic massage
Then retap and install with high heat anti seize.
It is for that reason that my next splurge tool will be an electric induction bolt heater. After we spoke and you gave me a solid plan I started digging a little more on what I had and what I would need to buy to remove all the bolts. at least you're driving your jeep.Had to drive mine into the city for work... Which always sucks. Will be doing it again tomorrow.![]()
What percentage did you go with Joe?After much back and forth I finally went ahead and tinted the front doors to match the factory tint on the other windows. Guess it will at least cut down on amount of heat gain while we're out west with more continuous sun. Pleased with outcome.
