I purchased a Gator EFX hard folding tonneau cover at Real Truck.com. Had it installed at Trick Trucks in Chantilly. Trick Trucks is a certified installer, so warranty was extended for 2 years by Real Truck.
Nice long 8 hour install to install my front metalcloak fenders but it came out great!! Still need to wire the front marker/turn signals, but so glad to have this all done!
So I did a thing. I had my xj for a year and decided to get a Wrangler. 04 Rubicon with 138k no frame rust. Now I can't wait till Tuesday to get it inspected and emissions done. And registered.
Does this count? I spent the day watching Star Wars movies and putting together the puzzle I got forChristmas. My wife helped out. We did not finish yet. Saving all of the black pieces for last
My new tj passed inspection today, but failed emissions because they couldn't get a read because the battery was replaced. And I only drove 5 miles down dale Blvd from my house to the shop
Also got it registered and transferred from West Virginia to Virginia now I wait on the DMV to mail me the plates and gonna have to go back to the shop to get the emissions done
Update for 2/19
Passed emissions on the tj
Updated registration on tj, and xj
On Monday I picked up my Jeep from @BullRun4x4. They put on new Bilstein B8 5160 shocks to replace the ones from the Mopar lift kit that had gone bad. Ride feels a little bouncy on the road, hoping that it relaxes a bit after a break in period. Looking forward to seeing how they perform off road.
I took the rear passenger door off and fixed the broken brown wire. I’ve gone all winter without remote start because the Jeep doesn’t know when that door is open. I really should have done this sooner as it only took a couple minutes to fix.
100% cosmetic things but I added locking gas cover and fixed my front license plate mount so Now I can be actual legal in Virginia now just to wait on my real plates to show up
