Yes it is  the same they are calling it Bald Mountain jeep trail. reason for the trail closed there was because of erosion subject did come up about opening parts of that again

I was confused by the name too. When I did Potts this summer the topo map I was looking at had the name "Bald Mountain" over on FR179 which goes up the ridge east of Potts.

I wonder what they can do to make it more challenging...right now its about as exciting as Peters Mill. There is one pretty rocky side trail but its nothing crazy.

Sounds like a good time wish I could have made it!

I'd love to help make some new obstacles there. We should do a ride there sometime and brainstorm some ideas that are plausible. So when the time comes we have some good ideas to offer.
