Agreed. They say it is already flooded. It should get a lit worse.

And I realized this  morning that I will be out of town for my anniversary on the 24th. Darn it.

So how many people are able to go this weekend?

I am not due to a trip for my anniversary, but I wanted to give VA4WD an idea of how many from the club would be attending the rescheduled date.

Im off but my son has a football game and Im trying not to miss any this year.

Although Ive missed 2 already because of work...they lost both, but has won the other 4-5 Ive been to, I must be a good luck charm haha

Bump.

Anyone else planning to go?  It is a great reason to get outside. I personally would be there if they didn't have to reset the date to a weekend I was out of town.

8x to be exact digging in hard rocky ground all in all it went well .big thanks too extreme terrain for 300+ dollar donated for the cleanup and $100 gift certificate for raffle . the forestry department has a government grant to improve Bald Mountain jeep trail. they want this Trail to be ( the Virginia jeep trail ) they are looking for any suggestions to improve the trail or maybe cut trails to new obstacles or make man-made obstacles spring cleanup possibly could be in the same place to add more signs maybe cut new trails or add obstacles not sure yet with that said anybody goes to big levels on the trail look around see if there's any place we can maybe make some obstacles or suggestions on improvements

Thanks
Richard

Bald Mountain is the same as Big Levels right?  If they wanted more obstacles they could have just not dug up the cut-throughs on the North side.  Weird.

Sorry I had to miss it, especially with the FS folks actually being there.  Bummer.  Hopefully in Spring.

Yes it is  the same they are calling it Bald Mountain jeep trail. reason for the trail closed there was because of erosion subject did come up about opening parts of that again
