Turbo Repair Shops

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know a good turbo rebuild shop in the DMV area? I have tried calling a couple of them and no one answers the phone or responds to emails.

Thanks

Look at a hot rod diesel shop or one that deal s with hotrod diesels. Rebuilding is not difficult just need parts and some time. Most turbos can be rebuilt with hand tools and a small press. Rebuilding turbo si common in big diesel engines where a turbo assembly is $15-25K. Might want to check with a trackor outfit ( Cat) or semi truck shop ( Peterbilt/Kenworth/Frieghtliner/Volvo) to see if you can get any good recommendations.

When it come to "rebuilding " small turbos, most will tell you to buy a new one as the cost to rebuild ($150/hr) plus parts get pretty steep. if you DYI you save a bunch of coin.

Cheers
