Date dependent, but count me in. I’ve read the trail has some challenging spots. What’s the minimum build required?

Really depends on the driver, from the stories I have read about it they have seen a stock liberty get through it, minus some scrapes to the skids, and a stock Rubicon fared very well, but again skids helped a ton. Majority will tell you have a lift, and tires at minimum, lockers are helpful but plenty have went through without them. Plus, if I recall we had a member (at the time) of this club, she had a stock Rubicon and she completed Potts Mountain... what was her name... eh it escapes me... but it's doable.

It will be a game of pick the right line so we will need to work together. At minimum would like those attending with winches, we can spare 2-3 people without a winch, but you'll get sandwiched with those that do have one incase we need it. By then I should have my bumper and winch installed.

Wow. Nice that it’s “optional” :)

Isn't it? Although kind of wish they showed the full episode on that section to see if they conquered it or winched. It looks harder to climb when it's wet and slippery but imagine if it was dry... looks like those tires wanted to climb.

I have been a few times and cannot imagine a stock vehicle making it through there. I would not take anyone without at least some lift and 35s.
There are a couple of obstacles that do not have bypasses and then there are some of the more challenging ones that are optional. It is not really doable as a day trip, or at least would be very tough to do. All the times I have gone people usually meet up at the nearby Campground and just head over from there.

Is that grey Rubicon stock? It doesn't seem to have any larger or aggressive tires nor a lift but maybe it's just me. From the video, all looks doable but I know videos never do it justice.
Everybody is certainly welcome to give it a shot. I have no doubt a very experienced driver would find a way. The v you go down at the beginning, the rock garden right after that, and the climb next to the tree are all challenging imo.

Sign me up (date depending)

Can we have a slightly later start time due to the 3.5 hr travel time? Maybe 9:30-10? Or are people planning on a hotel the night before?
