Potts mountain run June 21

Wish i could join, but i will be oncall. 
Will be heading out of King George around 0900 to head to Potts Campground. Since we are a GMRS club I will monitor GMRS 15 on the way out. My travel s will take me thru Charlottesville to 64 west to 81 south. It is a 4 hour run for me. If anyone want to tag up and convoy down drop a post.

Would love to go with you all this weekend, but sadly I have no camping equipment with me (left it all in Ohio when we moved up here.....big mistake I know. Looks like there are little options for hotels nearby. I could possible leave early in the morning to join you. What time are you hitting the trail?
I have a tent and a few sleeping bags if you want to borrow.

I might just bring a cooler and a couple of blankets. This tactic kept me alive through my early 20's.
Man... I cannot win. I am not going to make it. My grand-kids moved in with me this weekend. My Daughter and son in-law are going back to CT to close on the house while we watch the kids. There is zero chance of me leaving my disabled wife to take care of 3 kids under 8 and two puppies that are 4 months old. If she survives it, she will 100% toss my butt out for taking off instead of helping.
Choices.... likely for the better. Your big monster would scare most of the group
. On the plus side got the radio installed and hit the Fburg repreater from Dahlgren clear as a bell.

Lets shoot for a drivers meeting at 0800 and depart for the trail shortly thereafter.
Suggest we air down and disconnect at the campground, just a short trip to the trail head from there.
See everyone on Friday Night. I will be the White JT with the Red Offroad camper trailer. Planning to arrive early/mid afternoon Friday.

It has been a few years since I was there last. I would say you could double up but no not enough for the whole group.
