It is time for the Race of Kings at King of The Hammers - so @WNDR-XJ and I will be hosting a watch/wrenching party so you can cheer on your favorite driver/team while working on Jeeps! The Race of Kings starts at 11:00 Eastern, and the top drivers will usually finish in 6-8 hours.

Given the time of year, and the unpredictability of the weather, we have an attached, semi-heated garage that we can use to work on comfortably one, but possibly two Jeeps simultaneously. If the weather is inexplicably nice we also have two carport spaces that could be used.

If you are have a project and are interested in attending - please reply with details of your project so we can plan for the space and how many vehicles we can work on simultaneously.

If you are interested in just helping or hanging out, that is great too!

In the afternoon we will break out the pizza oven and do made-to-order pizzas for everyone - if you feel like bringing something to share that would be great!

Projects:
@Galactica - Replacing Transmission Pan Gasket
@WNDR-XJ - Rear Bumper
@Ginga - Automatic door locks

Lending a Hand:
@DNFjoe

Thanks for hosting this, we are really looking forward to it.

We plan to install an alarm with automatic door locks with @ImFnLost

I'm also in the process of spray painting some rock sliders I got from Facebook marketplace. So I'll probably bring these too.

Hi there! I am interested in attending and learning about working on jeeps. I have no projects myself, but want to see how easy or difficult some things are to do. I'll bring some food to share too.

Sounds like a good time! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can get things painted.

Excellent - Can always use an extra hand!

Hi all, I see it listed as being in Herndon, but I don't see an actual street address? I am new in the club and don't know where anyone lives 😂. Will that info be added here or sent out in private messages?

Thanks, Joe

don’t rely on GPS to get there. You will go right past their driveway and take the next left. Ask how I know this 😂

WishI could make it (work travel). I need some help diagnosing why my instrument cluster gauges aren’t working anymore, the horn on all the time, and some grounds on my TJ. Have a great time!
