How to install the NOVA Jeepers Forum App!

Hey everyone! Now that we have the new forum software ready to go - we now have our very own NOVA Jeepers App! Here are some quick instructions on how to get the app installed on your device!

Android Devices​

1. Visit the NOVA Jeepers Forum from your mobile device, using the chrome browser, and click on the three horizontal bars, to access the menu

2. Click on the Install button next to "Install the app"

3. Click Install

4. The app will now appear on your apps menu!

Apple iOS Devices​

Apple iOS devices unfortunately do not implement all of the standards for "Progressive Web Apps", which is the technology used to create the app. The process is a bit different, see here or below.

1. Using Safari (other browsers do not work) visit the forum.
2. Click the Share Button, select “Add to Home Screen”. Then click Done on the next screen.

3. An icon will now appear on your Home Screen which can directly launch the forum.

Note this isn’t as full featured as you might hope an app to be and it launches Safari.

Windows / Microsoft Edge​

1. Visit the the NOVA Jeepers Forum from device, using the chrome browser, click the Install App icon in the address bar and click Install

2. The NOVA Jeepers app will now be on your Desktop and accessible from your start menu
