Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Club Invasion 2025

Just wondering if anyone here will be attending the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Club Invasion?

This will be the first time we have gone.

I will be there (barring any complications from eye surgery this month). We stay in Gatlinburg because we love that area and it's about 5 miles from the convention center. Our Hotel is already completely booked that week!
I am registered for the show and shine also. It's pretty crazy there, in the evening all you see on the 6 lane road in Pidgeon Forge is bumper to bumper Wranglers.
I skipped the last 2 years and went to the OC Jeep Fest, but I wanted to see how this year went in Pidgeon Forge. The first year we went, there were about 5,000 jeeps and 2 years ago there were over 14,000 and 42,000 tickets were sold for the show!

My jeep is a black 2013 JK 2dr with a "Zombie Apocalypse Edition" logo on the sides of the hood and a deep water Snorkel, so hard to miss!!

We booked the Music Road Resort. It's on the strip so I hope it will be quiet. I have gone to OC jeep but this will be the first for my wife and son (he will be 4). He loves jeeps and will freak out when he sees them all.

I will be there also, going with a group of 5 or 6 other jeepers. Looking at where you hotel is located you will be just a parking lot away from all the Jeeps crawling up/down the road (Parkway - 441). As Oakton Bubba said, it gets pretty crazy, last year they were saying there were over 25,000 Jeeps. People will place lawn chairs along the Parkway starting on Wednesday to hold their spot to watch the Jeeps and pass out and catch duck. Lots and Lots of Jeeps, and people. Just make sure you bring your patience's, there are just a lot of Jeeps and people. I never felt unsafe at any of the big parking lot gathering. I'll also pass on my phone number.

I am staying at the Gatlinburg Park Vista Doubletree, The view in the morning of the sunrise over the mountains is just too good to miss.

Traffic in Gatlinburg after the show gets pretty slow and stop and go, but the last year I was there, people were throwing ducks in my drivers window when we got stopped, now that was funny.
