I have the Glock 42 and love it, it is not my everyday carry, but it has it's place and purpose.

I love the 43. Would love another for her. The 42 though is appealing but so is having one caliber to purchase

Yes but the firearm its for your wifey and it should be her choice.  And she will be happier with a Walther PPS M2. Its her decision and not yours.

I truthfully want to know why. I don't understand the Glock hate so many have, so what makes the PPSM2 so much better? Empirical evidence please, not opinions....

No Glock hate. I prefer the trigger on the PPS M2 and it fits my hand better. Empirical evidence for a firearm really???  Some folks like a Winchester Model 70 and some folks prefer a Remington Model 700. Some folks like  a Mossberg 500 and others a Remington 870. I prefer a PPQ Classic to a Glock 17 and Glock 19. Fits my hand better and the trigger is substantially better in my opinion. A friend/coworker of mine has Glock 43 and another coworker a PPS M2 I prefer the PPS. Glock 43 owner also has a Glock 17 and 19 and prefers my PPQ Classic. But he is Glock fan boy.  He also has some weird Swiss made handguns.

Hell I also like Colt SAA in 45LC.

For me its the trigger how it breaks and resets and they fit my hand better.  Its superior to the Glock. Also Walthers are better made.

And mostly because hot women who wear Agent Provocateur prefer Walthers.

Currently Walther has a $100 rebate.

OK, those sound like valid reasons for you to prefer the Walther, but those are preferences that will be different for every shooter.

These sound like facts, but I'm betting it's still opinion ;)

There's a fact that should affect purchase decisions, but that's really just saying "The Walther compares well on price at the moment."

Every Walther I have ever owned or used had a terrible trigger.  As for your personal hand feel and your opinion on which is better made is just that, opinion.  Because it may fit your hand better doesn't mean it will fit his wife's.  She has shot and as made the decision on the 43.  I don't understand why it would matter to you.

Glocks go Bang! every single time. Out of all my pistols I keep a Glock 23 in the night stand. A Walther?!? what a horrible choice that would be. Don't take gun advise from someone who bought a gun based how it felt in his hand.  The 43 is an awesome carry piece.

Can we keep this on topic please. If you can help Stephen find a Glock for his wife, then post a reply otherwise kindly move along.

The Glock 43 is a great choice.  I got my wife the 42.  I carry it in the summer because its so easy to conceal in shorts and my banana hammock.  You didn't get on here asking for gun advice and doesn't look like anyone has a 43 for sale.  I would part with my 42, but only to get the 43! Lol

Poor little delusional Glock fan boy!  Walthers go bang every time and have better triggers than Glocks.

I know someone who has a 43 for sale. I check and see if it still available.  She does require a very stringent background check. Stricter than just CCW permit or a FBI check.

And she is getting rid of her 43 cause she got a Sig 320C.

She requiring a prostate check? There's not a lot more strict normal people can do besides fingerprints and a ncic check.  I wouldn't even deal with a person like that, sounds bat poop crazy.
