Favorite Wrangler Colors You Don't Own

Some of us were lucky enough to order our favorite color from the factory. Others bought the best one that was on the lot. Some are driving their buddy's hand me down. I am more interested in the colors you love to see out on the road, but you don't own. IE this isn't what is your favorite jeep color, but what is your favorite color to walk by in a parking lot, or pass on a trail.

Perhaps it is too bright for you to be seen in. Perhaps Jeep didn't offer it when you were buying, or the dealer didn't have one when you wanted to buy.

What is your favorite color you couldn't/wouldn't/didn't buy?

I'll start with these three:

Rock Lobster (available on the JK) - I love this one for the name, and for how unique the red it. Red with a hint pink/orange to it.

Gecko (available on JK and JL, not to be confused with the even brighter hyper green) - I love this color, but it needs a black top and black fenders IMO. I don't know if I could drive one daily, it might be too bright. I had the option to order mojito green (similar but metallic) and went with ocean blue instead.

Finally The Dragon Special edition - not a color, but checkout out that hood to fender to door graphic. I always get excited when I spot on in the wild. Apparently dealers had a hard time selling the last of these, and some even removed the graphic and put on golden eagle decals (leaving the dragon embroidered head rests).

So what colors do you enjoy spotting in the wild?

I always liked the gecko green or Tuscadero. We settled with a silver JKU when we had a wrangler. I painted my Scrambler black since per the body tag it was a triple black Laredo. But I like the colors that announce themselves.

Oh man this is a great one - Im going to have to go with the US Forest Service Green XJ. Super hard to find these days but they are awesome!

My first car was the Forest Green XJ - so by extension, the Sarge Green is my favorite of the current lineup!

I'm boring and love a white jeep with black accents.

I'm a big fan of the blues like the Hydro Blue Pearl and the Bikini is nice too but my all time favorite is the Anvil color. The Earl color is close but not quite the same.
If i went with a red it would be the Snazzberry. I also like the Gobi and Sarge Green. The Copper was really good too.
ok i pretty much would go with any of them other than black, white, or silver/gray but i think Anvil win out over all of them with a khaki interior and top if possible.

I love the royal blue, yellow, orange, Sahara tan and turquoise colors, but I hope we can get a yellow Wrangler one day. My Daddy bought our first Jeep in 1970 and it was yellow. Not bright yellow, but soft yellow. Would love to honor him.

I always enjoyed Impact Orange. Best color on a TJ IMO.

I am also a big fan of the Anvil color. I had the hydro blue & the anvil to choose from. No regrets though!

I always liked anvil as someone else mentioned.

Sting-gray was also sort of cool.

The gator color on the first year of the gladiator was very interesting. I don't know why they only offered it one year.

And the most obscure one I would say is Aztec Gold that came on the TJ. Only ever saw it once in person.

Amber fire Pearl on the TJ. I knew there was aTJ color I forgot.

i loved the orange JKs and i could not find one when i was looking around. alas, many of you have heard my story that i really dislike yellow on any vehicle but i did fall in love with mine (2020 JLU). the black grill and hood decal really helped break up all the yellow. mine makes me happy. other fav would be mojito green.
