MULTI-SHOP HURRICANE RELIEF TRIP for WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA - PLEASE DONATE!

For Official Release
Monday September 30, 2024

Bull Run 4x4 & Auto Care (Haymarket, VA), A&N Automotive,Diesel and Off-Road LLC (Louisa, VA) & Dirt Nerds Motors (Sterling, VA) in collaboration with Outlaw Offroad - Greensboro are working together to coordinate a Hurricane Relief Trip to Greensboro, NC to deliver food and supplies to flood victims affected by Hurricane Helene.

Each location will have a donation trailer onsite to accept donations from the community. Both Bull Run 4x4 and Dirt Nerds will have a 16 ft enclosed trailer at each of our shops which we will be loading with donated supplies starting on Tuesday October 1st. A 20ft flat deck trailer will be located at A&N Automotive & Diesel to accept supplies. For those donating to A&N, if you can place your supplies in a tote bin with a lid we would greatly appreciate it to make transportation/logistics easier/cleaner.

We are asking our customers and friends in the community to help with the relief efforts by donating something in the list below starting Tuesday. Once the trailers are full the doors will be locked and our shops will make a convoy to Outlaw Offroad in Greensboro, NC. We anticipate departing northern Virginia no later than October 3rd.

Items for donation can include but not limited to the following:

• Cases of bottled water
• Propane tanks
• Baby diapers
• Baby formula
• Powdered drink packets
• Non-perishable foods (cans, sealed packs, etc.)
• Flashlights and batteries
• Generators
• Pet food

Thank you for support!

Kaye and I just dropped off some goods we picked up at Costco. Costco in Manassas is completely out of toilet pape. People may be hording due to the impending dock workers strike. Weird because I thought most of our toilet paper is from domestic wood and producers and wouldn't be affected by the strike.

Wanna give a shout out to Bull Run 4x4 for working for the greater good. Backbreaking 3 days, but the type of work that makes you feel good! I took a couple pictures but don't want to steal their show so I'll wait for Mike to post.

Spoiler, not only did Bull Run organize all of the logistics they also footed the bill for the volunteers' dinner and hotels for the night when we realized the trip would be down to Charlotte instead of the significantly closer Greensboro.

Great to see vendors sharing a sense of community not only with 4x4s, but extending it to people and humanitarian needs in general.

THANK YOU to everyone who participated and thank you to Adam for stepping up and spending all day on Wednesday helping load trucks and trailers. We set out to attempt to fill one 7x22 enclosed trailer (7,000 lbs. worth of goods) and we ended up filling FIVE TRUCKS AND TRAILERS with over 40,000 lbs. of goods! It was so awesome to see everyone step up and donate for those in NC affected by this disaster.

Thanks to the guys at Outlaw Offroad in NC too! They were great to work with.

Here is a quick video I made of the trip.
