Is there a place in the DMV area where you can rent a stall with a lift? I used to go over to Bolling to work on my truck but it’s no more. I’d like to do my own work but need a lift.

There used to be one in Sterling but insurance was too high sp they had to shut down.

Yeah, I’m sure it has become more of a liability than it’s worth. I’ve seen some “Darwin winners” in the shop. Military bases used to have them everywhere but they’ve dried up because of cost cutting. They were such a great resource.

last i saw/used was the Quantico Auto Hobby Shop two years ago. the one at Ft. Belvoir just closed.

Quantico is still open, but the hours make it pretty difficult to get anything done there...
