I'm going to chop my front fenders this week and I am trying to figure out what cut I want. Please help me decide what is best for my JK..  What is blue and the sides for the fenders are going to be cut off/gone.
1. The drivers side.

2. Lower cut on Passenger side and the corner is going to be rounded.

3. A higher cut on passenger side and the corner is going to be rounded.

It looks like #1 has it so far.  I like it.  More aggressive look.  Good luck!

1, the rest just look like floppy JK fenders.

Make sure you retain that side marker light whichever way you end up going.

buy plastic or metal tube fenders, they look far better then a hack job. i have yet to see i hack job on a jk that i feel looks "good".

also not a fan of removing the inner fender well.

While I agree to a point, not everybody has the coin to drop on a full set of replacement fenders....

As one who has done this. I would say just wait and get some sort of tube fender or replacement flat fender(Xenon or Bushwacker). I like my fenders the way they are but they just don't look finished. I will be getting flat fenders or tube fenders sometime down the line. Also, this is your Jeep, not someone else's so do what You want not what anybody else wants. You have to live with it, not us. Just sayin.

Have fun with it whatever you do. :cheers

oh i know, a chop job is free, the lines are just alot cleaner.

Most think mine are aftermarket with the door trim. Save a few hundred bones to reinforce/protect parts and make it custom.

My first jk I did #1 and you know what mine look like now. #1 IMO only looks good if the tires stick out past. But with #1 you can always go to #2 whenever you want.

#1 definitely

Tips
-Chalk was a great way to draw the lines, then use a dremel and a steady hand for a clean cut. Lizreg can send you pics if you want, or come to the Manassas meet & greet on Wed and we can give you some more tips. The hardest part was getting the trim just right to look good, we will probably re-do the trim in the spring. Can't beat free if you like the look.

I'm going to to say I like (A) better, but I just wanted other peoples thoughts.  And to me spending 400+ on fenders is not a thought right now, since I just bought rims, tires and a lift over the past two months.
