Jeeps and Java, Rigs and Coffee or the next thing all take time to evolve. They also take time to organize and promote. The original Car and Coffee on the west coast is a early Saturday morning event that has been running for a very long time. It is open to the car culture at large.
An Idea:
- Perhaps this becomes a monthly or every other month event. Advertises to the community at large Jeeps, Broncos, etc. Have a Coffee and doughnut food truck or something of the like. This will take time to gather a following. Move it around!
- Another thought is Combine this with a Club meeting have you "car show" at the meeting and award some prizes in a few categories.
- invite a guest speaker to the meetings topics (something to do with our sport.).
It is pretty clear there are more than a few in the Northern VA area that work for Federal service. that means there are more than a few that are stressed out and concerned about their futures and finances. Make this a fun event, put some effort into organizing, work with the community to help balance costs. We have vendors associated with the club. How can they help?
